Ex. Chairman Stands for New Seat

Our former long serving committee member and past Chairman, David Kevill, has decided to stand for a new post in another small business organisation. David, who had four years in the Chair at CLBC, early in the new Millennium, is now standing for election as Chair of the Central Lancashire branch of the Federation of Small Businesses.

David told us "I feel that every organisation benefits from a regular change in key committee positions to bring in new ideas and fresh enthusiasm."

"I believe that my previous and present experience of chairing business groups and my connections in the local business community will be of benefit in working towards a fresher, brighter local FSB committee and also to build into that committee an effective succession policy."

He certainly got very involved and gave both enthusiasm, and expertise, to his time on our committee. We wish him well and if any joint CLBC and FSB members wish to support David, the local AGM is on the 5th December. Further details here:
